The OHC will monitor issues during the upcoming legislative session. Issues requiring action will be posted throughout the session.

Ongoing issues of importance to the members include:

• Including horticulture in the definition of commercial agriculture for sales tax exemption purposes.
• Ensuring adequate sources of water for irrigation while meeting environmental regulations.
• Enabling horticulture businesses to take advantage of agricultural exemptions when dealing with environmental regulations.
